Key Takeaways:
- How often do we tell people that we love them and express our gratitude?
- Everything in life is a lesson, no matter how painful it may seem.
- Don't feel guilty about setting boundaries. Everyone will have their own boundaries at various levels - do the best you can do.
- You can love yourself and still have room to improve and realise that you deserve more.
- Vibrational frequencies are at the core of our universe and are found countlessly within science.
- When you truly believe in something and act as if it is already true, you increase the chances of it coming into your physical reality.
- If you're unsure what vibration you're on, look to the animals in your life and see their reaction, or ask a very honest family member or friend.
- The proof is in the pudding... have a go and see the results! There is no harm in trying.

Speaker:you, too. Some people are
Speaker:comfortable with mediocrity.

Speaker:greatest version of yourself.
Speaker:Hello, everyone.
Speaker:Well, today I am absolutely
Speaker:delighted to be starting my
Speaker:next book club.
Speaker:Now, I've got so many books
Speaker:on the list that I want to do, so
Speaker:many, but I've taken a little bit of
Speaker:a vote on it and one that I
Speaker:think is going to be really, really
Speaker:helpful to everyone is Good
Speaker:Vibes, Good Life by Vex King.
Speaker:Now why have I chosen this
Speaker:book? Lots and lots of reasons.

Speaker:every single age group who reads
Speaker:this seems to really enjoy it,
Speaker:and it's so, so helpful.

Speaker:in there. It's also really, really
Speaker:easy to read.
Speaker:I love Vex's writing
Speaker:style.
Speaker:It's very, very
Speaker:easy, easy, broken down and
Speaker:nice, little very short chapters,
Speaker:which I really, really love.
Speaker:And I think it's such a skill.
Speaker:It's such a skill to take such
Speaker:complicated subjects
Speaker:and to make
Speaker:it understandable to all sorts
Speaker:of people of all different
Speaker:levels of awareness.
Speaker:For those of you that can afford it,
Speaker:I would really, really recommend you
Speaker:get this. You can get this on
Speaker:Amazon, you can get it from all good
Speaker:bookstores.
Speaker:And it's really lovely to support
Speaker:the author by buying the book.
Speaker:And what I will be doing is reading
Speaker:it through.
Speaker:And then what I'm going to do is
Speaker:just make my comments as I go
Speaker:through.
Speaker:I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Speaker:So let's get started.
Speaker:I'm going to read the back cover and
Speaker:you'll see why I've picked this one.

Speaker:questions and more.

Speaker:a shining light for others.
Speaker:In this book, Vex will show you
Speaker:that when you change the way you
Speaker:think, feel, speak and
Speaker:act, you change the world.
Speaker:And Lewis Howes, New York Times
Speaker:best selling author and host of the
Speaker:School of Greatness podcast.
Speaker:I Love Lewis Howes' podcast,
Speaker:said "This is the perfect guide for
Speaker:those who are seeking a way out of
Speaker:the darkness and want to live a more
Speaker:beautiful and meaningful life".
Speaker:So, one of the main reasons I chose
Speaker:this book is at the moment
Speaker:so many people are probably on a
Speaker:similar thinking to me in terms
Speaker:of, "Goodness me, what's going on in
Speaker:the world. We've had our eyes opened
Speaker:to nothing is
Speaker:as we seem.
Speaker:Everything is topsy turvy,
Speaker:everything is inverted".
Speaker:And in this book you're going to
Speaker:find some simple, easy
Speaker:to put into place practical tips
Speaker:with lots of examples.
Speaker:So let's get started
Speaker:and see what you think.
Speaker:"Mum, I dedicate this book to you.
Speaker:Our life has been tough.
Speaker:But with your strength, faith and
Speaker:perseverance, you've made
Speaker:incredible things happen for us.
Speaker:Regardless of everything that came
Speaker:your way and all the times I've
Speaker:let you down, you show me nothing
Speaker:but unconditional love.
Speaker:It was this love that led to the
Speaker:sacrifices you made.
Speaker:It was this love that kept me
Speaker:smiling.
Speaker:You forgave you hugged, you laughed,
Speaker:you inspired, you encouraged,
Speaker:you healed.
Speaker:And you did everything else in your
Speaker:power to demonstrate that
Speaker:with love, anything was possible.
Speaker:Which is why I'm here today,
Speaker:passing on my love to others through
Speaker:my words.
Speaker:And dad.
Speaker:Of course, my existence would not be
Speaker:possible without you.
Speaker:Although I never got to know you
Speaker:properly.
Speaker:I've always felt your energy guided
Speaker:me when I needed it most.
Speaker:I know how much I meant to you when
Speaker:I was born.
Speaker:I hope you're proud of me.
Speaker:Finally, I would like to dedicate
Speaker:this book to anyone with a dream.
Speaker:Whether that's a dream just to
Speaker:survive or to make it through
Speaker:a dark day.
Speaker:It was my dream to write this book
Speaker:that will positively change lives
Speaker:across the world.
Speaker:If I can make it happen, so
Speaker:can you.
Speaker:I believe in you.
Speaker:I hope you do too.".
Speaker:That's pretty powerful just to begin
Speaker:with as well.
Speaker:Just my thoughts on that.
Speaker:How often do we tell
Speaker:people that we love them?
Speaker:How often do we express
Speaker:our gratitude for people and what
Speaker:they've done to us and whether they
Speaker:stuck through with us through thick
Speaker:and thin? I think that's a really,
Speaker:really important thing to recognise
Speaker:straightaway.
Speaker:"Introduction.
Speaker:For three years In my childhood, I
Speaker:had no fixed home.
Speaker:My family and I lived with relatives
Speaker:and for short periods during this
Speaker:time in a housing shelter.
Speaker:I was grateful that we had a roof
Speaker:over our heads.
Speaker:But I remember how frightening the
Speaker:house in shelter experience was.
Speaker:There were always unpleasant looking
Speaker:characters lurking around the
Speaker:entrance who would throw us piercing
Speaker:stares when we entered the building.
Speaker:Being a four year old child, I felt
Speaker:scared, but my mother
Speaker:reassured me that things would be
Speaker:okay.
Speaker:She said that we should just look
Speaker:down and go straight to our room.
Speaker:One night we popped out and when
Speaker:we returned, there was blood all
Speaker:over the staircase and on the walls
Speaker:in the corridor.
Speaker:Fragments of glass covered the
Speaker:floor.
Speaker:My sisters and I had never seen
Speaker:anything so horrific before.
Speaker:We looked up at our mum.
Speaker:I sensed fear in her.
Speaker:But again, with courage, she
Speaker:told us to tread carefully over the
Speaker:glass and get up to our room.
Speaker:Still shaken by what we'd seen,
Speaker:my sisters and I tried to work out
Speaker:what may have happened downstairs in
Speaker:the corridor in the shelter.
Speaker:Then we heard screams and shouting,
Speaker:followed by sounds of chaos.
Speaker:It was terrifying.
Speaker:Once more, we looked to Mum for
Speaker:comfort.
Speaker:She pulled us in close and told us
Speaker:not to worry.
Speaker:But I could hear her heart pounding.
Speaker:She was just as scared.
Speaker:We had very little sleep that night.
Speaker:The screams went on and on.
Speaker:I was surprised that no police came,
Speaker:that no one else seemed to be trying
Speaker:to calm the storm.
Speaker:It was as though no one cared about
Speaker:the safety of the people there.
Speaker:It felt like no one cared about us.
Speaker:All we have was each other in
Speaker:a world that seemed cold and
Speaker:corrupt.
Speaker:When I discussed childhood memories
Speaker:like this with one of my friends and
Speaker:family, they're shocked by how
Speaker:much I can remember.
Speaker:I often find them asking,
Speaker:"How do you even remember that?
Speaker:You were so young."
Speaker:I don't remember everything, nor
Speaker:are my memories crystallised in
Speaker:clear detail.
Speaker:However, I do remember how I felt
Speaker:during the majority of my
Speaker:experiences, good and bad.
Speaker:There was so much emotion attached
Speaker:to the events that took place,
Speaker:and these memories haunted me for a
Speaker:very long time.
Speaker:During my late teens, I wished
Speaker:a lot of these memories would just
Speaker:go away.
Speaker:I wanted to erase them so that I was
Speaker:no longer reminded of the struggles
Speaker:I faced as a child.
Speaker:I was even embarrassed by some of
Speaker:them.
Speaker:I felt uncomfortable with who I was.
Speaker:There were times when I said and did
Speaker:things that didn't match the child.
Speaker:I was deep down.
Speaker:I often felt hurt by the world
Speaker:and wanted to hurt it back.
Speaker:Things are different now.
Speaker:I look back on my memories and
Speaker:embrace everything that happened.
Speaker:There's a lesson to be learned from
Speaker:every event.
Speaker:I realise that the good, the bad
Speaker:and the downright ugly events
Speaker:are all part of who I have become.
Speaker:Although some of them may have been
Speaker:painful, they're a blessing.
Speaker:They've taught me so much.
Speaker:My experiences have left me with a
Speaker:drive to find a way out of misery
Speaker:and a path towards a better life.
Speaker:I've written this book to share the
Speaker:lessons I've learned in the hope
Speaker:that they'll provide you with some
Speaker:clarity and guidance
Speaker:to live what I call a greater life.
Speaker:It's up to you what you take from my
Speaker:stories.
Speaker:I accept that some of the ideas will
Speaker:resonate.
Speaker:Others will feel uncomfortable.
Speaker:Nevertheless, I do believe
Speaker:that if you can apply the concepts I
Speaker:discussed within the course of this
Speaker:book, you'll experience
Speaker:incredible positive changes if
Speaker:your life.
Speaker:I'm not a philosopher, a
Speaker:psychologist, a scientist,
Speaker:or a religious leader.
Speaker:I'm simply someone who likes to
Speaker:learn and share my wisdom with
Speaker:others in the hope it may
Speaker:release them from an undesirable
Speaker:feelings and increase feelings
Speaker:of joy".
Speaker:Powerful already, isn't it?
Speaker:"I believe that every person on this
Speaker:planet is here to make a difference.
Speaker:I'm devoted to helping you find your
Speaker:purpose so you can add value
Speaker:to a world which is in such
Speaker:turmoil.
Speaker:If we can collectively become
Speaker:conscious citizens of this planet,
Speaker:we will lessen the burden
Speaker:we place on it.
Speaker:By living to your full potential,
Speaker:you'll not any change your world,
Speaker:you'll change the world around you
Speaker:too.
Speaker:Some people are comfortable with
Speaker:mediocrity.
Speaker:They avoid living a greater life,
Speaker:one that's beyond what most consider
Speaker:the norm.
Speaker:A greater life requires you to find
Speaker:your greatness.
Speaker:In simple terms, greatness
Speaker:is about becoming the greatest
Speaker:version of yourself.
Speaker:It's about breaking the imaginary
Speaker:boundaries that hold you captive in
Speaker:a life you believe
Speaker:you have to settle for,
Speaker:and touching the realms of the
Speaker:unthinkable.
Speaker:The greatness mentality means
Speaker:living a life without limits
Speaker:where there are infinite
Speaker:possibilities.
Speaker:For this reason, we cannot define
Speaker:where greatness begins or ends.
Speaker:We can only strive to become
Speaker:better.
Speaker:Stop trying to impress people.
Speaker:Impress yourself.
Speaker:Stretch yourself.
Speaker:Test yourself.
Speaker:Be the best version of you that
Speaker:you can be.
Speaker:This book requires you to commit to
Speaker:a better you, right now.
Speaker:My aim is to help you become better
Speaker:than the person you were yesterday.
Speaker:Every day in each and every
Speaker:way for the rest of your life.
Speaker:If you wake up with a desire in your
Speaker:mind, then consciously follow up
Speaker:on it. You'll be surprised by how
Speaker:much inspiration you find.
Speaker:Your life will begin to reflect your
Speaker:commitment to progress.
Speaker:Greatness isn't a one dimensional
Speaker:term.
Speaker:Although it's subjective, most would
Speaker:associate the word with having a
Speaker:special talent, lots of
Speaker:money or material possessions,
Speaker:authority or status
Speaker:and big achievements under their
Speaker:belt.
Speaker:But true greatness goes deeper
Speaker:than that.
Speaker:It cannot exist without purpose,
Speaker:love, selflessness,
Speaker:humility, appreciation,
Speaker:kindness, and,
Speaker:of course, our highest priory as
Speaker:human beings, happiness.
Speaker:When I think of greatness, I think
Speaker:of reaching a level of mastery
Speaker:across all avenues of life
Speaker:and making a positive impact on the
Speaker:world.
Speaker:Great people aren't just the high
Speaker:rollers in life, but those
Speaker:who we value as amazing
Speaker:inhabitants of this world.
Speaker:You deserve a greater life.
Speaker:And this book will help you create
Speaker:it.
"Daily goal:be better than who I
"Daily goal:was yesterday.
"Daily goal:Post your pictures or favourite
"Daily goal:images, pages, quotes and
"Daily goal:experiences related to this book
"Daily goal:on social media using hashtag Vex
"Daily goal:King book so I can like
"Daily goal:them and feature them on my page."
"Daily goal:So that's just the introduction.
"Daily goal:Wow. There's so much in there.
"Daily goal:I love this.
"Daily goal:I love the talk about community
"Daily goal:and love the talk about recognising
"Daily goal:that everything in life is a lesson,
"Daily goal:however painful it may seem
"Daily goal:at that time.
"Daily goal:And my goodness, how many lessons
"Daily goal:have we been through over the last
"Daily goal:few years and how many are we going
"Daily goal:through right now, both
"Daily goal:in terms of relationships with your
"Daily goal:self, about your sovereignty,
"Daily goal:about family members, about
"Daily goal:what you feel about the controllers
"Daily goal:of society, every aspect
"Daily goal:of your life, food chain, water.
"Daily goal:It's amazing to see how many
"Daily goal:areas... And I've had so many
"Daily goal:conversations with people
"Daily goal:just this week
"Daily goal:in terms of it's a fine
"Daily goal:line, isn't it, about where do we
"Daily goal:concentrate all our efforts on
"Daily goal:ourselves and where do we
"Daily goal:concentrate on being good citizens?
"Daily goal:Because we know that some of
"Daily goal:history's atrocities have come
"Daily goal:because no one has spoken up against
"Daily goal:them or not enough people.
"Daily goal:You know, if we turn a
"Daily goal:blind eye to atrocities that are
"Daily goal:happening, then are we
"Daily goal:just as complicit in that as
"Daily goal:the perpetrators.
"Daily goal:So lots in it already.
"Daily goal:Let's get on to the first chapter.
"Daily goal:"What is self-love?
"Daily goal:To achieve a sense of peace, we
"Daily goal:need balance.
"Daily goal:Balance between work and play,
"Daily goal:between action and patience,
"Daily goal:spending and saving,
"Daily goal:laughter and seriousness, leaving
"Daily goal:and staying.
"Daily goal:Failing to achieve a balance across
"Daily goal:every area of your life can leave
"Daily goal:you feeling exhausted,
"Daily goal:among many other unpleasant
"Daily goal:emotions, such as guilt.
"Daily goal:Here's an example of balancing
"Daily goal:action and patience.
"Daily goal:If you're the project leader of a
"Daily goal:final year university assignment
"Daily goal:and you catch a team member, who you
"Daily goal:like, on social media
"Daily goal:instead of helping your team,
"Daily goal:you may allow it to slide.
"Daily goal:If they do it on multiple occasions
"Daily goal:and you notice their productivity
"Daily goal:slipping, you may warn them
"Daily goal:that if it persists, you'll have to
"Daily goal:report them to the course leader.
"Daily goal:If they then choose to ignore you
"Daily goal:and continue their behaviour,
"Daily goal:would you feel guilty about taking
"Daily goal:further action?
"Daily goal:If you are a kind and compassionate
"Daily goal:human being, you may fear hurting
"Daily goal:their feelings and getting them in
"Daily goal:trouble.
"Daily goal:By reporting them to the course
"Daily goal:leader, they may have to face severe
"Daily goal:consequences that affect their final
"Daily goal:grade and that might have
"Daily goal:implications on their future.
"Daily goal:However, they're disrespecting you
"Daily goal:in ignoring your warnings,
"Daily goal:you may feel like they are taking
"Daily goal:your kindness for granted,
"Daily goal:and you might worry that other
"Daily goal:project members will be disheartened
"Daily goal:if they see you lenience as
"Daily goal:favouritism.
"Daily goal:In this instance, if you're kind
"Daily goal:and honest and follow a fair
"Daily goal:process, you needn't feel
"Daily goal:guilty for taking further action.
"Daily goal:It's important to recognise that
"Daily goal:it's not unjust to let go of those
"Daily goal:who show no concern for you.
"Daily goal:As project leader, you can remember
"Daily goal:that you tried your best and
"Daily goal:unfortunately your friend chose not
"Daily goal:to respond.
"Daily goal:If you don't take action, you risk
"Daily goal:losing your inner peace, the respect
"Daily goal:of your team, and harming your own
"Daily goal:grade.
"Daily goal:By taking a balanced approach, you
"Daily goal:can feel more at ease and avoid any
"Daily goal:bad feelings, such as guilt.
"Daily goal:You demonstrate both action and
"Daily goal:patience.
"Daily goal:You can show that your understanding
"Daily goal:and forgiving.
"Daily goal:Self-love is the balance between
"Daily goal:accepting yourself as you are whilst
"Daily goal:knowing you deserve better and then
"Daily goal:working towards it".
"Daily goal:So that's an interesting scenario,
"Daily goal:isn't it? I'm sure we've all got
"Daily goal:scenarios in
"Daily goal:our everyday life where we've got
"Daily goal:these things going on all the time,
"Daily goal:and a lot of us,
"Daily goal:myself included, have spoken a lot
"Daily goal:about boundaries and having healthy
"Daily goal:boundaries. But often those
"Daily goal:boundaries are a bit of trial and
"Daily goal:error to put in place
"Daily goal:and everyone's going to set those
"Daily goal:boundaries at different places
"Daily goal:depending on what resonates for them
"Daily goal:as an individual.
"Daily goal:But these sort of questions are
"Daily goal:really important to
"Daily goal:a to also because there's always
"Daily goal:consequences of any action.
"Daily goal:But when you're giving it a
"Daily goal:considered, non-emotional,
"Daily goal:you know, thought process like Vex
"Daily goal:has just described there, I think
"Daily goal:that's the best we can do.
"Daily goal:And once you've made that decision,
"Daily goal:accept the consequences and accept
"Daily goal:you've done it from the right place.
"Daily goal:You can show that you're
"Daily goal:understanding and forgiving and
"Daily goal:also firm and authoritative.
"Daily goal:The chances are that even if this
"Daily goal:student is upset by your decision,
"Daily goal:they will still respect you for
"Daily goal:giving them a chance.
"Daily goal:So what does this have to do with
"Daily goal:self-love?
"Daily goal:Well, the phrase self-love is often
"Daily goal:misunderstood.
"Daily goal:Self-love encourages acceptance.
"Daily goal:But many people use this as an
"Daily goal:excuse to remain unchallenged.
"Daily goal:In fact, self-love consists
"Daily goal:of two essential elements
"Daily goal:that must be balanced if one wishes
"Daily goal:to live a harmonious life.
"Daily goal:The first element encourages
"Daily goal:unconditional love towards your
"Daily goal:self.
"Daily goal:The focus is on mindset.
"Daily goal:The truth is you won't love yourself
"Daily goal:more if, for example, you
"Daily goal:lose or gain weight or undergo
"Daily goal:cosmetic surgery.
"Daily goal:You may feel more confident, sure,
"Daily goal:but true self-love is when you
"Daily goal:appreciate where you are and
"Daily goal:who you are regardless of any
"Daily goal:transformation you aspire to.
"Daily goal:The second element encourages growth
"Daily goal:and the focus is on taking action.
"Daily goal:Improving yourself and your life
"Daily goal:is also self-love
"Daily goal:because it means you recognise that
"Daily goal:you deserve more than settling
"Daily goal:for mediocricy.
"Daily goal:When it comes to self-love, think
"Daily goal:about what it means to love others
"Daily goal:unconditionally.
"Daily goal:For example, your partner may have
"Daily goal:annoying habits, but this doesn't
"Daily goal:mean you love them any less.
"Daily goal:You accept them as they are and
"Daily goal:sometimes even learn from their
"Daily goal:flaws.
"Daily goal:You also want what's best for them.
"Daily goal:Therefore, the particular habit was
"Daily goal:affecting their health, you support
"Daily goal:them in making positive changes.
"Daily goal:This demonstrates your unconditional
"Daily goal:love for them.
"Daily goal:You don't judge them harshly, but
"Daily goal:you do want them to be the best
"Daily goal:version of themselves for their own
"Daily goal:sake.
"Daily goal:Self-love is about applying this to
"Daily goal:yourself, having your own
"Daily goal:best interests at heart.
"Daily goal:True self-love can be present in
"Daily goal:anything that adds value to your
"Daily goal:life.
"Daily goal:From your diet, your spiritual
"Daily goal:rituals, or the way you interact
"Daily goal:with your personal relationships.
"Daily goal:And of course, a significant
"Daily goal:aspect of self-love is acceptance,
"Daily goal:being content with who you are,
"Daily goal:as you are.
"Daily goal:As a result, self-love is
"Daily goal:empowerment in liberation.
"Daily goal:An understanding of self-love allows
"Daily goal:us to find balance between mindset
"Daily goal:and action.
"Daily goal:Without balance, we'll regularly
"Daily goal:stumble full and feel lost.
"Daily goal:When you love yourself, life
"Daily goal:will begin to love you back.
"Daily goal:The balance between mindset and
"Daily goal:action will enable you to vibrate
"Daily goal:higher.
"Daily goal:We'll explore this further in the
"Daily goal:next few chapters".
"Daily goal:So, I mean, self-love has always
"Daily goal:been quite a triggering thing
"Daily goal:for me.
"Daily goal:I don't know why it's been so
"Daily goal:triggering, I think.
"Daily goal:I think self-love means something
"Daily goal:different to absolutely everyone you
"Daily goal:speak to. And I'd really love to
"Daily goal:hear in your comments below.
"Daily goal:What does self-love mean to you
"Daily goal:and what sort of practices
"Daily goal:do you incorporate into your daily
"Daily goal:life to ensure that you do have
"Daily goal:self-love and that that's something
"Daily goal:if you need to, you're still working
"Daily goal:on.
"Daily goal:There's so many things we can do in
"Daily goal:this area, and I'd really, really
"Daily goal:love to hear what's working for
"Daily goal:each of you, because when
"Daily goal:we see what's working for other
"Daily goal:people, it might really, really
"Daily goal:help someone in the chat.
"Daily goal:So please don't be shy in sharing.
"Daily goal:So, "Part one, A Matter
"Daily goal:of Vibes.
"Daily goal:Introduction.
"Daily goal:My time at university was a
"Daily goal:financial struggle, although
"Daily goal:I'd been given a student loan.
"Daily goal:Most of it went to my accommodation.
"Daily goal:I had very little to live on.
"Daily goal:I couldn't buy any course books
"Daily goal:because I couldn't afford them.
"Daily goal:I wouldn't ask my mum for money
"Daily goal:because I knew she was struggling
"Daily goal:herself.
"Daily goal:I knew that if I did ask her, she'd
"Daily goal:somehow find the money for me, as
"Daily goal:she's always done her whole life,
"Daily goal:even if it meant that she couldn't
"Daily goal:eat.
"Daily goal:For the most part, I budgeted well,
"Daily goal:I could go out and party with my
"Daily goal:friends regularly.
"Daily goal:I never went hungry and I
"Daily goal:didn't have to keep wearing the same
"Daily goal:clothes. I made up the money
"Daily goal:from online endeavours, like
"Daily goal:building customised page layouts
"Daily goal:on MySpace.
"Daily goal:During one summer term, I returned
"Daily goal:home for a break.
"Daily goal:I had no money left and everything
"Daily goal:felt hard.
"Daily goal:I didn't want to go back to
"Daily goal:university because I didn't enjoy
"Daily goal:the work and I had no motivation
"Daily goal:to complete my summer assignments.
"Daily goal:Having spent much of the year
"Daily goal:studying, I was forced to find
"Daily goal:a summer job so I'd be able to stay
"Daily goal:afloat when I got back to
"Daily goal:university.
"Daily goal:All of my friends were planning a
"Daily goal:much needed holiday together and I
"Daily goal:couldn't afford to go.
"Daily goal:And I was having problems with a
"Daily goal:girl.
"Daily goal:The drama I was experiencing in my
"Daily goal:romantic and platonic relationships
"Daily goal:constantly angered me, and
"Daily goal:I didn't feel good about life.
"Daily goal:One evening I came across a book
"Daily goal:called The Secret.
"Daily goal:People were saying it was changing
"Daily goal:their lives and that everyone could
"Daily goal:benefit from it.
"Daily goal:It was founded on a simple
"Daily goal:principle, The Law of Attraction".
"Daily goal:Let me know below.
"Daily goal:How many of you have read The Secret
"Daily goal:or seen the film, and what
"Daily goal:are your thoughts on it?
"Daily goal:What are your thoughts on it now?
"Daily goal:And can you remember what your
"Daily goal:thoughts were on it when you first
"Daily goal:read it or watched the film?
"Daily goal:"The premise of the Law
"Daily goal:of Attraction is that what you think
"Daily goal:about, you bring about.
"Daily goal:In other words, we can attract the
"Daily goal:things we want into our lives by
"Daily goal:committing our thoughts to them.
"Daily goal:This applies to the things you don't
"Daily goal:want as well as the things you do
"Daily goal:want.
"Daily goal:Quite simply, whatever you focus
"Daily goal:on will be returned to you.
"Daily goal:So the Law of Attraction stresses
"Daily goal:the importance of thinking about
"Daily goal:what you want.
"Daily goal:Rather than focusing
"Daily goal:on things you fear or dread.
"Daily goal:The Law of Attraction places great
"Daily goal:emphasis on positive thinking.
"Daily goal:To me, it sounded too good to be
"Daily goal:true. So I began to do more
"Daily goal:research, and I read about people
"Daily goal:who were claiming that the law of
"Daily goal:Attraction is bringing them
"Daily goal:astonishing changes.
"Daily goal:Could I apply this to my life too?
"Daily goal:I knew exactly what I wanted:
"Daily goal:to go on holiday with my friends.
"Daily goal:I needed roughly £500 for
"Daily goal:this to happen, so I
"Daily goal:followed the general guidelines and
"Daily goal:tried to be as positive as I could.
"Daily goal:A week or so later, I received
"Daily goal:a letter from the Tax Office saying
"Daily goal:that I may have paid too much tax.
"Daily goal:Was this a sign that the Law of
"Daily goal:Attraction was working?
"Daily goal:I filled out the forms to provide
"Daily goal:them with further details and posted
"Daily goal:it back to them as soon as I could.
"Daily goal:A week went by and I heard nothing.
"Daily goal:My friends were getting ready to
"Daily goal:book their holiday and I felt
"Daily goal:miserable that I wouldn't be able to
"Daily goal:join them.
"Daily goal:The potential of tax rebate
"Daily goal:lingered in the back of my mind.
"Daily goal:With growing frustration I rang
"Daily goal:the tax office and asked them if
"Daily goal:they'd received my letter.
"Daily goal:They confirmed they had, and that
"Daily goal:I'd hear back soon.
"Daily goal:At this point I felt excited,
"Daily goal:but I was running out of time.
"Daily goal:The summer term was ending and my
"Daily goal:friends would be going away soon.
"Daily goal:Another week went by and I still
"Daily goal:hadn't received anything.
"Daily goal:I was starting to give up on the
"Daily goal:idea and told my friends to book
"Daily goal:the holiday without me.
"Daily goal:I decided to focus elsewhere
"Daily goal:and lift my mood by reading
"Daily goal:motivational material.
"Daily goal:At the least, this would make me
"Daily goal:feel a little bit better about life.
"Daily goal:A few more days passed, then an
"Daily goal:envelope from the tax office
"Daily goal:arrived.
"Daily goal:I opened it nervously.
"Daily goal:Inside was a cheque for £800.
"Daily goal:I was shocked, overwhelmed and
"Daily goal:overjoyed.
"Daily goal:I got myself to the bank as fast as
"Daily goal:I could to deposit the cheque.
"Daily goal:Cheques usually take up to five days
"Daily goal:to clear, but this one was in my
"Daily goal:account within three days.
"Daily goal:The following Monday, my friends and
"Daily goal:I booked a last minute holiday
"Daily goal:and flew out four days later.
"Daily goal:I had a wonderful time,
"Daily goal:but more importantly, I became
"Daily goal:a believer in the law of attraction.
"Daily goal:I decided that I was going to use
"Daily goal:this to change my entire
"Daily goal:life".
"Daily goal:So, I
"Daily goal:want to know what your thoughts
"Daily goal:are on the Law of Attraction.
"Daily goal:What are your experiences?
"Daily goal:I spoke about this in one of my
"Daily goal:recent interviews or can't remember
"Daily goal:at the moment who was with.
"Daily goal:But I read the Law of Attraction
"Daily goal:years ago. I think a friend gave it
"Daily goal:to me for my birthday back in
"Daily goal:2011.
"Daily goal:The reason I remember that is it's
"Daily goal:written in the front and my daughter
"Daily goal:is just reading it now.
"Daily goal:And from that moment on, things
"Daily goal:started shifting to me.
"Daily goal:Now, being careful how
"Daily goal:I say this. There's a lot of things
"Daily goal:coming out about various people
"Daily goal:and who's involved in what an
"Daily goal:agenda is behind things.
"Daily goal:But just like if it's your favourite
"Daily goal:band where you've got favourite
"Daily goal:music that uplifts you, brings back
"Daily goal:happy memories, makes you lift
"Daily goal:your vibration, a good book,
"Daily goal:a motivational speaker,
"Daily goal:you know, we all go through so many
"Daily goal:stages in life and what I would say
"Daily goal:is take the good and just leave
"Daily goal:what doesn't serve for you.
"Daily goal:So if those of you that haven't read
"Daily goal:The Secret and tried some of these
"Daily goal:simple tips...
"Daily goal:Honestly, I know so many
"Daily goal:people that have made major
"Daily goal:shifts in areas of their life
"Daily goal:just by reading The Secret and
"Daily goal:putting some of their teachings into
"Daily goal:place.
"Daily goal:So let me know what you think.
"Daily goal:Let me know. As I said, if your
"Daily goal:thoughts over this is as evolved
"Daily goal:after you've looked into this more
"Daily goal:deeply, what do you think about
"Daily goal:the other universal laws and how
"Daily goal:they think into The Law of
"Daily goal:Attraction?
So, page seven:"There's something
So, page seven:missing from the Law of Attraction.
So, page seven:For the law of attraction to work,
So, page seven:you have to think positively.
So, page seven:However, it's difficult to stay
So, page seven:positive all the time.
So, page seven:When things go wrong in life
So, page seven:or they don't quite turn out as we
So, page seven:expect.
So, page seven:It's hard to remain optimistic.
So, page seven:Most people saw me as being a
So, page seven:positive individual, but
So, page seven:when things got hard, I was far
So, page seven:from it.
So, page seven:Anger had always got the better of
So, page seven:me.
So, page seven:Sometimes external events
So, page seven:would create so much rage within me
So, page seven:that I'd want to wreck everything
So, page seven:in sight.
So, page seven:As a result, I enter a downward
So, page seven:spiral.
So, page seven:I fluctuated constantly from
So, page seven:highs to extreme lows.
So, page seven:I was like two different people.
So, page seven:These inconsistencies were projected
So, page seven:onto my life.
So, page seven:I go through some really good
So, page seven:periods and then experience some
So, page seven:really bad ones.
So, page seven:During the bad times, it was
So, page seven:impossible to see the bright side of
So, page seven:things.
So, page seven:I tended to give in and take out
So, page seven:my frustrations on the world by
So, page seven:smashing up furniture,
So, page seven:speaking rudely to others
So, page seven:and moaning about how terrible it
So, page seven:was to live in the world.
So, page seven:"During my last year of university,
So, page seven:I experienced a massive setback in a
So, page seven:group project that counted for a
So, page seven:significant percentage of my final
So, page seven:grade.
So, page seven:When my group became divided
So, page seven:over how much of a contribution
So, page seven:people were making.
So, page seven:I tried to be optimistic about it
So, page seven:and expected it to work out in the
So, page seven:end, but it didn't.
So, page seven:It got really messy.
So, page seven:Is suddenly seemed clear, that the
So, page seven:Law of Attraction didn't always
So, page seven:work.
So, page seven:My group was completely divided,
So, page seven:arguing constantly over our
So, page seven:individual roles and how much
So, page seven:effort each member was putting in.
So, page seven:Just months before graduation.
So, page seven:Things got out of control and harsh
So, page seven:words were exchanged.
So, page seven:Unfortunately, there was no way to
So, page seven:fix the issue.
So, page seven:My friend Darren and I felt that we
So, page seven:were treated very unfairly,
So, page seven:but there wasn't much we could do
So, page seven:about it other than work ten
So, page seven:times harder with looming deadlines
So, page seven:that seemed impossible to meet,
So, page seven:especially on top of the rest of our
So, page seven:workload.
So, page seven:We were convinced would fail of
So, page seven:assignments and exams
So, page seven:and therefore be unable to graduate.
So, page seven:It felt like we've wasted our entire
So, page seven:time at university.
So, page seven:I had gone to university because I
So, page seven:felt like I had to.
So, page seven:It was what you were supposed to do
So, page seven:if you wanted a good job and a
So, page seven:comfortable life, which I hadn't
So, page seven:experienced during my childhood.
So, page seven:But deep down, I didn't really want
So, page seven:to be there.
So, page seven:I didn't enjoy it.
So, page seven:I always knew I wouldn't end up in a
So, page seven:traditional job.
So, page seven:I was doing this for my mum more
So, page seven:than anything.
So, page seven:I watched her struggle my whole life
So, page seven:and wants to show her that it hasn't
So, page seven:been in vain.
So, page seven:Now that I was so close to the
So, page seven:finish line, it was all going to be
So, page seven:taken away from me.
So, page seven:All I could think about was letting
So, page seven:my mum down, letting myself
So, page seven:down and all the money wasted
So, page seven:on a degree that i was going to fail.
So, page seven:It was for nothing.
So, page seven:I was overcome by negative thoughts.
So, page seven:I told my mom I was going to leave
So, page seven:university as I had no reason
So, page seven:to be there.
So, page seven:I hated it and it was unfair what
So, page seven:I was going through.
So, page seven:My rage needed a scapegoat,
So, page seven:so I blamed her for everything.
So, page seven:Lovingly. She tried to convince me
So, page seven:to stay and do the best I could,
So, page seven:but in anger, I only argued with
So, page seven:her even more".
So, page seven:I really feel for this situation.
So, page seven:"I was fed up with the endless
So, page seven:problems and I wanted to leave
So, page seven:everything behind.
So, page seven:I had no reason to live and no
So, page seven:purpose in life.
So, page seven:My low state even led me to revisit
So, page seven:some of my worst memories, which
So, page seven:just added more fuel to the fire,
So, page seven:convincing me that my life was
So, page seven:worthless.
So, page seven:What was the point in having dreams
So, page seven:if I could never manifest them?
So, page seven:I convinced myself I was living
So, page seven:a lie and kidding myself that I
So, page seven:could do big things.
So, page seven:It seemed clear right then, great
So, page seven:things were never meant for me.
So, page seven:So I trawled through employment
So, page seven:websites and applied for a variety
So, page seven:of jobs that look fairly interesting
So, page seven:and paid well even though I
So, page seven:wasn't qualified for them.
So, page seven:I thought that if I could land one,
So, page seven:it wouldn't seem like a complete
So, page seven:failure, and I would at least have
So, page seven:some money to help my family with
So, page seven:their debts, bills and expenses,
So, page seven:including my sister's weddings.
So, page seven:In my covering letters, I explained
So, page seven:that although I was underqualified,
So, page seven:I'd be the perfect employee.
So, page seven:No one responded.
So, page seven:Underneath it all.
So, page seven:I knew I couldn't quit university
So, page seven:when I'd already come so far.
So, page seven:I'd expended so much energy trying
So, page seven:to find a way out of the problem.
So, page seven:But now it was time to face what had
So, page seven:to be done and hope for the best.
So, page seven:But first, I had my elder sister's
So, page seven:wedding to attend.
So, page seven:This added more pressure.
So, page seven:It meant that I'd have to hand in an
So, page seven:assignment earlier than everyone
So, page seven:else and take time off university
So, page seven:just two months before my final
So, page seven:deadlines, which would set me back
So, page seven:even more.
So, page seven:Stubbornly.
So, page seven:I told my family that I couldn't go
So, page seven:to the wedding even though I knew
So, page seven:I would forever regret missing such
So, page seven:an important event.
So, page seven:In the end, I did go, albeit
So, page seven:reluctantly.
So, page seven:And as soon as I got there,
So, page seven:something unexpected happened.
So, page seven:I felt calm and relaxed.
So, page seven:The wedding was in Goa, India,
So, page seven:and it was beautiful.
So, page seven:Everyone there was shining bright
So, page seven:with happiness and love for my
So, page seven:sister and her new husband.
So, page seven:Honestly, at this point, I wasn't
So, page seven:trying to feel positive.
So, page seven:I was comfortable feeling down and
So, page seven:feeling sorry for myself.
So, page seven:And I wanted others to feel sorry
So, page seven:for me, too.
So, page seven:But this new environment created a
So, page seven:welcome shift in me.
So, page seven:For the first time in ages, I
So, page seven:felt grateful.
So, page seven:I'll always remember my sister's
So, page seven:wedding, and it taught me a lot
So, page seven:about how the universe operates.
So, page seven:On my return home, the positive
So, page seven:feelings stayed with me.
So, page seven:I felt good and very calm
So, page seven:about the chaos outside of me.
So, page seven:My renewed steadiness motivated
So, page seven:me to finish what needed to be done.
So, page seven:I created a dummy scorecard
So, page seven:that displayed the overall mark I
So, page seven:would receive from my degree.
So, page seven:I'd stare at this for a few minutes
So, page seven:each day was pretending that the
So, page seven:impressive grade on the school card
So, page seven:was real.
So, page seven:I didn't quite believe that I'd
So, page seven:achieve it.
So, page seven:It was merely a desire.
So, page seven:But I did believe that I would do
So, page seven:well, nonetheless.
So, page seven:"I made up my mind to go to the
So, page seven:library every single day
So, page seven:for hours on end.
So, page seven:I put in a huge amount of extra work
So, page seven:needed to complete the group
So, page seven:assignment and more.
So, page seven:During my breaks, I took time to
So, page seven:chat with positive people who were
So, page seven:able to make me feel good about
So, page seven:myself.
So, page seven:One of them was a woman I'd
So, page seven:eventually fall in love with
So, page seven:for life.
So, page seven:When it came to exam time, handing
So, page seven:in assignments and doing the final
So, page seven:year presentation, I
So, page seven:was confident that I'd done enough.
So, page seven:As it turned out, I didn't quite get
So, page seven:the marks that were on my dummy
So, page seven:scorecard, but I did pass
So, page seven:comfortably and I
So, page seven:aced one of the hardest exams of
So, page seven:my course, which came as a surprise.
So, page seven:I went on to have similar success
So, page seven:by using the Law of Attraction,
So, page seven:but overall the results were hit and
So, page seven:miss.
So, page seven:I knew I was missing something
So, page seven:when I found out what this was, I
So, page seven:began to have more consistent
So, page seven:success.
So, page seven:I was able to test this on others to
So, page seven:see if they'd also benefit from my
So, page seven:discovery.
So, page seven:And they did.
So, page seven:In fact, many of them were able to
So, page seven:do things that are once impossible.
So, page seven:Not everything I've wanted has
So, page seven:manifested.
So, page seven:This has usually been a blessing in
So, page seven:disguise.
So, page seven:Too many times I believed that
So, page seven:I wanted and needed something that
So, page seven:was for all the wrong reasons.
So, page seven:Over the years, I've gained clarity
So, page seven:and sighed with relief for not
So, page seven:getting what I thought was surely
So, page seven:meant for me.
So, page seven:Often. I've not got what I wanted,
So, page seven:only to find I'd later been blessed
So, page seven:with even more".
So, page seven:I love this chapter because, one,
So, page seven:it's brutally honest about how
So, page seven:Vex was feeling really sorry for
So, page seven:himself.
So, page seven:And I think, you know, I don't think
So, page seven:there's a single person listening to
So, page seven:this that have gone through those
So, page seven:stages at multiple times
So, page seven:in their lives. You know, sometimes
So, page seven:we do feel sorry for ourselves and
So, page seven:it's quite important to go there and
So, page seven:not suppress it.
So, page seven:But look how quickly things can
So, page seven:turn around.
So, page seven:So let's get on to the next chapter
So, page seven:and see what happens next.
:"The Law of Vibration.
:The universe responds to your
:vibration.
:It will return whatever energy
:you put out.
:We hear this a lot".
:Just pausing straight away on this
:one because we hear this so
:much about the law of vibration and
:we get back like a boomerang exactly
:what we put out.
:But how many of us really believe it
:and how many of us are really
:observing what's manifesting
:in our lives and why that is?
:"Beyond the Law of Attraction is The
:Law of Vibration.
:It's the key component to a greater
:life.
:Once you learn and apply the ideas
:around this law, your life will
:transform.
:This isn't to say that you'll avoid
:all difficulties.
:What you will do, though, is find a
:way to take control and create
:a life that feels just as good as it
:looks.
:Now, one of the earliest authors of
:self-improvement literature
:is Napoleon Hill.
:His 1937 book,
:Think and Grow Rich, remains one
:of the bestselling books of all
:time.
:Many of the world's greatest
:entrepreneurial gurus praise its
:guidance to achieving success.
:Hill's research for his book
:included interviews with 500
:successful men and women to
:find out what they'd done to attain
:their success.
:He then shared the wisdom he'd
:accumulated from them.
:Among his conclusions, he claimed:
:"we are what we are because of the
:vibrations of thought, which we
:pick up and register
:through the stimuli of our everyday
:environment".
:Hill makes many references to the
:concept of vibration in
:his book, and you'll see the word
:vibration today is
:commonly abbreviated to 'vibe'
:a number of times in my book too".
:That was one of the first
:self-improvement books that I read.
:The Napoleon Hill
:Think and Grow Rich, absolutely
:brilliant. And actually I've
:got seven people in my life,
:including my husband, where it
:was really, really transformational
:for them. So, I really
:recommend to anyone that hasn't read
:that, they read that it's
:a brilliant read.
:Yet many later editions of Hill's
:book removed any mention of
:the word vibration.
:Perhaps the publishers didn't
:believe the world was ready for
:Hill's concept.
:Even today, metaphysical laws
:relate to vibration of under
:criticism due to lack of scientific
:evidence".
:Ugh, that's so annoying.
:"Despite this, there have been a
:number of attempts to explain the
:law of vibration.
:Scientist Dr. Bruce Lipton and
:author Greg Brayden are among those
:at the forefront of bridging the gap
:between science and spirituality".
:Think everyone knows how much I love
:those two.
:"Their ideas on how our thoughts
:affect our lives support the
:concepts suggested by the Law of
:Vibration, even if
:some believe it to be no more than
:modern pseudoscience".
:I bet those people who think it's
:pseudo science aren't attracting
:what they want into their lives!
:"Regardless, i, for one, have found
:the Law of Vibration resonates
:deeply with me and helps me make
:sense of life.
:And I know many others have
:discovered this too.
:I've seen miraculous changes occur
:from using the Law of Vibration,
:and whether you become a believer,
:or remain on the other side
:of the fence.
:Throughout this book, you learn that
:the Law of Vibration does no harm.
:Sometimes, first hand experience
:is more valuable than any data,
:measurable in numbers and graphs".
:I so believe that.
:"So what is the lower vibration?
:To begin with, remember that
:everything is made up of atoms
:and every atom is a little
:vibration.
:Therefore, all matter, and energy is
:vibrational by nature.
:If you think back to school, you
:were taught that solids, liquids and
:gases are all different states of
:matter.
:The frequency of the vibrations at
:a molecular level defines what state
:they're in and how they appear to
:us.
:Reality as we perceive it, occurs
:only through matching vibrations.
:In other words, for reality to
:be perceived, we have to be
:vibrationally compatible with it.
:The human ear, for example, will
:only hear soundwaves that are
:between 20 and 20,000
:vibrations per second.
:This doesn't mean that other sound
:waves don't exist, we
:just can't perceive them.
:When a dog whistle is blown, the
:frequency is above the vibrational
:range of the human ear and therefore
:doesn't exist to us".
:Obviously it does to the dog.
:"In his book, The Vibrational
:Universe, Spiritual author
:Kenneth James and Michael McClain
:writes that our five senses
:our thoughts as well as matter
:and energy, are all vibrational.
:He argues that reality is perception
:defined by vibrational
:interpretation.
:Our universe is clearly a deep
:sea of vibrational frequencies,
:meaning that reality is a
:vibrational aether that is
:responsive to changes in vibration.
:If the universe is responsive to
:our thoughts, words, feelings
:and actions, because
:according to MacLaren, they're all
:vibrational, then
:it's assumed by the law of vibration
:that we can control our
:reality.
:Change the way you think, feel,
:speak and act, and you begin
:to change the world.
:To bring an idea into an existence,
:or rather, into your perception,
:you must match its vibrational
:frequency.
:The more real or solid something
:is to you, the closer you are
:to it vibrationally.
:This is why, when you truly believe
:in something and act as if
:it were already true, you increase
:the chances of it coming into your
:physical reality".
:We hear this so much, don't we,
:there's so many people, whether it's
:Joe Dispenza, Bruce Lipton, Gregg Braden,
:loads of other people, Rhonda Byrne
:from The Secret.
:There's so many people that have
:really been putting it into practice
:and realise this is true.
:The best way
:to really do this is to do it
:yourself. So
:let's all just make sure we start
:practising some of the tips in this
:book and let's just see and
:monitor what results come for us.
:What have you got to lose?
:"To receive or perceive the reality
:you wish to have, you must be in
:energetic harmony with that with
:which you desire.
:This means that our thoughts,
:emotions, words and actions
:must align with what we want.
:This can be represented by taking
:two tuning forks that are calibrated
:to the same frequency.
:If you strike one of them so that it
:starts vibrating, the second fork
:will also vibrate, whilst remaining
:untouched.
:The vibration from the struck tuning
:fork transfers to the untouched
:tuning fork because they're attuned
:to the same frequency.
:They're in vibrational harmony.
:If they're not in vibrational
:harmony, then the vibration of the
:struck tuning fork will not
:translate to the other.
:Similarly, to listen to a specific
:radio station, you have to tune
:in the receiver to the frequency of
:that station.
:This is the only way you can hear
:it.
:If you tune into a different
:frequency, you'll end up listening
:to a completely different station".
:It sounds obvious.
:It really does sound obvious, but
:these are such important analogies
:for people to really integrate.
:"Once you're in vibrational
:resonance with something, you begin
:to attract it into your reality.
:The best way to identify what
:frequency you are on is through your
:emotions.
:Your emotions show a true reflection
:of your energy.
:Sometimes we can believe we're in a
:positive state of mind or taking
:good actions.
:But deep down, we know we're not.
:We're just pretending.
:If we pay attention to our emotions,
:we can see the true nature of our
:vibration and therefore what we're
:attracting into our life.
:If we feel good, we'll think good
:thoughts and as a result, we'll
:take positive actions".
:This is so important.
:And I talk a lot about my
:relationship with animals, and I'm
:lucky enough to spend my life
:surrounded by animals.
:It's so, so important.
:And, you know, if you want any doubt
:about what vibration you're actually
:in, try looking at how
:any animals are responding around
:you if you're lucky enough to have
:some in your life.
:If you haven't, get a really
:honest friend or family member to
:say what they pick up from
:you in terms of what they think
:you're feeling and what vibration
:you're at. You can use words that
:makes sense to them and to you.
:But when we're really open to
:that honest feedback,
:then we can really start making
:improvements in our life and
:attracting in what we want.
:Because so often, you
:know, we've got blind spots to where
:we really are.
:And it's really important that if we
:want to move forward and change
:things in our life, we recognise
:that.
:So we're now on page 19:
:"Good Vibes Only.
:Good vibes are simply higher states
:of vibration.
:The terms 'good' and 'positive'
:are used interchangeably to describe
:something desirable.
:For example, every time you label
:a past event as good or positive
:experience, you're referring
:to it in this way because
:it went as you'd hoped, or at least
:not as badly as it could have been.
:Essentially, you want things that
:you want because they make you feel
:good.
:All of life's desires are pursued
:to bring about a pleasurable
:emotional state and to avoid
:displeasure.
:Most of us believe that attaining
:our desires will lead to happiness.
:Given that emotion is one of the
:most powerful vibrations you can
:control and, fundamentally,
:positive emotions are what we're in
:search of, we can infer
:that our quest in life is to
:experience good vibrations.
:Think about it when you feel
:good, your life also appears
:to be good.
:If you could continually experience
:good vibes, you'll always view
:your life in a positive light.
:"Physician, Dr. Hans Jenny is known
:for coining the term 'cymatics',
:which is a study of physical
:sounds and vibration".
:Oh, look this up on YouTube it's
:amazing.
:Cymatics, that's spelled C Y M A T I C S.
:One of his best known experiments
:shows the effect of sound on sand
:sprinkled onto a flat metal plate
:that's made to vibrate at different
:frequencies by striking a violin
:bow against its edge.
:Various patterns are formed
:depending on the different
:frequencies.
:At higher vibrations, beautifully
:intricate patterns are formed.
:Lower vibrations produce less
:appealing shapes.
:A higher vibration then creates more
:enjoyable effects.
:Ideally, we want to feel as loving
:and joyful as we can in life.
:These are the highest vibrational
:feelings and will help us manifest
:more of what we want and
:by extension, more good vibrations.
:In contrast, feelings of hatred,
:anger and despair have very
:low vibration.
:They'll attract more of what you
:don't want.
:Based on the principle of the Law of
:Vibration, to receive good
:vibes, we must project good vibes.
:As transmitters and receivers
:are vibrational frequencies.
:The vibrations we put out are
:always pulling in stuff
:that's vibrationally at a similar
:frequency to us.
:This means the feelings we put out
:into the universe will be returned
:to us through matching vibrations.
:So, if you send out feelings of joy,
:then you'll be given more things to
:feel joyful about.
:The misconception is that you feel
:good only once you have what
:you want.
:The truth is you can feel good
:right now.
:"Ultimately self-love and raising
:the level of your vibrations go
:hand in hand.
:When you make an effort to raise
:your vibration, you show
:yourself the love and care you
:deserve.
:You'll feel good and attract good.
:By taking positive actions
:and changing your mindset,
:you'll manifest greater things.
:By loving yourself, you'll live
:a life you love".
:So that's the end of part one.
:Next time we'll get onto part two:
:positive lifestyle habits.
:There's so much, you know, when
:you're reading through these things,
:it's very easy to
:sort of skip through things and not
:really take in just the significance
:of how important these things are.
:So one of the reasons I thought I'd
:do this as a book club in short bite
:sizes is depending what time you've
:got, you can listen to one or
:you can listen to quite
:a few at once and you can replay
:the bits that you need to just
:really make sure it goes in to you
:a vibrational level.
:Because so often it's these
:simple, simple messages
:that can really transform our life
:the most.
:So this week I
:think there's loads to to think
:about. Please let me know what
:experience of this have you got.
:How do you find that
:you shift that vibration
:of yourself? What works for you?
:And have you tried things that
:haven't worked for you?
:And let us know some of the results
:you've been getting.
:For me, I speak a lot in a lot
:of my videos about gratitude.
:It's so simple.
:People say eurgh gratitude and being
:grateful, but it is literally
:transformative enough to transform
:your life.
:If your inner state
:and if you're really
:creating an
:energy of gratitude
:all through your day, from the
:moment you wake up to the last thing
:at night, just watch
:how much things shift with you.
:And like Vex said in that chapter...
:You know, sometimes if
:we haven't got what we've expect to
:or specific things we ask for,
:often the universe has a reason for
:it, and something even better
:comes along to replace it.
:So I think keeping that open,
:curious mind, to me, and
:asking...
:You know, people sort of say, well,
:how do I know where i'm vibrating
:at? It's really simple.
:Look at your life.
:If things are going how you want in
:your life, that's a really good
:reflection that right here, right
:now, you'll find voice a really
:great frequency for yourself
:if things aren't in any
:areas of your life.
:And I think that's the case for most
:of us. Most people have got some
:area of their life that they would
:really like to improve
:on, then being really honest
:about what your thoughts are, what
:your feelings, what you're putting
:out there, and how that could relate
:to what you get that.
:So a good example that I've come
:across recently is
:if you're with friends
:or you're the type of person that is
:taught negatively about others
:or other situations,
:then that is a very low vibe
:and then that energy is
:going to come back to you.
:Try shifting it around.
:There's quite a few videos I've done
:on Toxic Positivity.
:You'll see that with my friend
:Bryce on Esoteric Atlanta.
:But, so we're not talking about
:falsely ignoring or letting abuse
:happen or not having good
:boundaries, and we'll come onto this
:later in the book, I'm sure.
:But what we all talking about
:is making sure that you're not
:bringing yourself down and
:attracting into...
:Things into your life you don't want
:to by focusing on these low
:vibrational behaviours, emotions
:and feelings.
:So thank you so much for listening.
:Thank you so much for Vex, and
:I will be back next time for the
:next in the series.
:I really hope there's at least one
:thing that you can take away and
:apply to your own life or to
:the lives of your animals.
:Thank you so much for taking the
:time to listen and if you feel
:inspired, please do share
:with your friends and family.
:My goal is to inspire as many
:people as I can to live their best
:lives.
:To stay curious and to raise
:their consciousness and
:that of the collective.
:So to do this, I need to reach as
:many people as possible.
:And this needs your help.
:If you feel drawn, would you be
:willing to share your favourite
:episode with five different people?
:This helps us spread the word and
:also helps me encourage some
:exciting new guests to take part in
:this podcast.
:If you feel drawn to do that, I will
:be very, very grateful.
