#3 Your Pets are Trying to Tell You Something - Episode 3: The 5 Senses
In this episode, recorded live, I once again welcomed the amazing Dr. Timo Tastutar and Lance Schuttler. In this 3rd episode, we look at the 5 senses and the importance of understanding how our animals use their senses to give us clues when something is going out of balance and needs attention. We look at the vital role nutrition has on the functioning of the 5 senses, and how essential this is for physical and mental health. We also remind you that what we talk about applies to both humans and all animals.
This episode follows Episode 2 of my "Your Pets are Trying to Tell You Something" series (#2), where we discussed species-appropriate movement; running or cycling with dogs; as well as how nutrition is key to preventing issues such as arthritis and more.
- We discuss how our animals greatly rely on the 5 senses.
- The importance of nutrition on the senses, as well as the clues our animals might be giving us that something might be out of balance.
- We explore how, as a society, we often put some of our issues down to "the normal aging process", however often it isn’t the case.
- The importance of balancing food and water quality.
- We look at the microbiome, and how this links to all of our senses.
- The importance of clean Omega 3 oils, the problems with fish oils, mineral balance, and how to enhance your animal's health.
So sit back, enjoy with an open mind - Stay Curious, and Stay Free, and, very importantly, please do let us know what you think in the comments or the reviews. Thank you.
